When Abdullah Mohsin joined Bilfinger in January 2023, he brought with him a diverse range of professional experiences. From working in finance to managing private business ventures in Indonesia, Abdullah’s career path had already been shaped by resilience and adaptability - qualities he now contributes to #TeamBilfinger.
Stepping Out of the Comfort Zone
Reflecting on his first steps at Bilfinger, Abdullah shares, "I started my journey at Bilfinger as part of a project delivery team." Early on, he was given a challenging assignment that was outside his comfort zone. Initially uncertain, he credits his colleagues for offering the guidance that helped him move forward.
"In my first two weeks, I was handed a task I had no prior experience with," he shares. "I was anxious, but knowing I had teammates who were ready to guide me made all the difference." This experience not only helped him overcome his initial doubts but also sparked a new level of ambition. For Abdullah, the team spirit at Bilfinger became a cornerstone of his growth.
From Project Delivery to Emiratization Coordinator
From those early days, Abdullah progressed to focus on business development for his department and later transitioned into a project manager role. Most recently, he has embraced a new position as Emiratization Coordinator. In this role, Abdullah is dedicated to integrating local Emirati talent into the company, a responsibility that aligns with Bilfinger’s broader mission to foster diversity, inclusion, and local expertise.
Speaking about this transition, Abdullah underlines, "Becoming the Emiratization Coordinator is not just a career milestone for me. It’s a role with purpose. I’m honored to take care of Emirati talent, ensuring they feel empowered and valued in their contributions to our team."
