Bilfinger has received an important framework contract from energy company Electricité de France (EDF) for the modernization of 58 French reactor blocks. The order is awarded to a consortium including three Bilfinger companies of the segment Engineering & Technologies. It covers engineering and construction services and has a total output volume for Bilfinger of up to €40 million over the course of the next five years.

In this case we combine engineering services with our piping competencies creating decisive added value for our customer”, says Bilfinger CEO Tom Blades.
France is one of the largest economies in Europe. Bilfinger has a long established tradition in the design, fabrication and delivery of discrete process components – commonly known as packaged units – in the French gas processing, biotech / pharmaceutical and petrochemical industries. In recent years, existing customer relationships have been developed further and additional customers in other industries have been won. Bilfinger will continue to build further on the resulting growth momentum. One of the additional focus industries will be energy & utilities.
