Energy and carbon efficiency measures can significantly improve the sustainability performance of industrial plants. To take full advantage of their potential, a structured and systematic approach is essential. The energy and carbon efficiency approach applied by Bilfinger consists of three phases: the development of a net zero roadmap, the design of measures and their implementation (build). This approach, which has been tried and tested in a large number of projects, is suitable for individual industrial plants as well as for operators with a large number of sites.
