Expo Real: Bilfinger Berger assumes cost guarantee with “one”

Bilfinger Berger is presenting its new product offering for the real estate sector at the Expo Real trade fair in Munich: Under the “one – Real Estate Performance Guarantee” brand, the Group is now the first company in the industry to offer private customers a comprehensive package that includes design, construction and operation in combination with a cost guarantee for an agreed period. With “one” the Company conveys that the customer has a single contract partner and receives services throughout the lifecycle of his real-estate property from a single source.

“None of our competitors offer a comparable product”, stressed Roland Koch, Chairman of the Executive Board of Bilfinger Berger SE at the Expo Real. “With ‘one’, we are alone in guaranteeing both the construction and operating costs of a property”. Customers thus receive long-term cost security, also in the operating phase, including expenditures for repair and maintenance as well as the defined energy consumption of the building, added Koch.

With “one” Bilfinger Berger is transferring the tried and tested lifecycle model applied in public private partnerships to a product offering for the private sector. Target groups include users with a long-term orientation who seek sustainable, customized buildings such as commercial enterprises with their own real estate portfolios or institutional investors such as funds. Koch explained that, with “one”, the Company has linked its existing competences and premium services to an additional attractive, high-quality product. Traditional individual services will, of course, continue to be offered.

Bilfinger Berger Building and Bilfinger Berger Facility Services, the two Group companies involved, are pursuing a strategic corporate goal with the new product: Through closer networking among Group units, numerous competences in the Company are to be better integrated, thus creating additional product offerings and value added for customers.
