Bilfinger has won orders with a total volume of €25 million

The engineering and services group Bilfinger has won orders with a total volume of €25 million in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Power company Babcock Borsig Service Arabia was commissioned with the modernization of four superheater boilers at the Qurayyah Power Plant south of Dammam by Saudi Electricity Company. Babcock Borsig Service Arabia was able to sign multi-year framework agreements with the Saudi Electricity Company covering repair and maintenance work for the Shoaiba and Rabigh power plants. In addition, the country’s largest energy producer has commissioned the company with the rehabilitation of four boilers at the Qurayyah power plant.
Bilfinger has been commissioned by energy and water utility Marafiq with the efficiency enhancement of three desalination plants in order to make full use of their capacities in the future. The order includes replacement of the salt water pipes and an automatic pipe cleaning system. Marafiq provides industrial customers in the cities of Jubail and Yanbuwith drinking water and seawater for cooling systems and takes care of wastewater management and wastewater treatment.
