Q1: What does your job role involve?

A1: I am responsible for ensuring that we have robust procedures and the necessary qualifications to carry out Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspection jobs. My role encompasses not only the more common conventional techniques but also the advanced, high-level methods.

Q2: What do you enjoy about working for Bilfinger?

A2: What captivates me most is the sheer variety of projects and the creative challenges they bring. Each advanced inspection is a unique puzzle, often demanding tailored adjustments and inventive solutions. This diversity ensures that my work remains both engaging and intellectually stimulating.

A3: It's essential to lay a robust foundation of technical knowledge and a thorough understanding of standards compliance. Keeping abreast of the latest industry developments and being flexible enough to adapt to new technologies and methodologies are critical aspects of this role.

Q4: What are your future career ambitions?

A4: My primary ambition is to elevate our Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) capabilities to new heights. This involves driving technological innovations and implementing cutting-edge methods to stay at the forefront of the industry. A crucial part of this journey is advancing our digitalisation efforts.
