Insulation PrefApp

The Insulation PrefApp is a digital solution for drawing prefab for insulation purposes. This app promotes standardization and optimization of making prefab insulation parts so that they can be delivered quickly and accurately by our Prefab Center in Roosendaal.

The finishing of industrial insulation consists of prefabricated shaped parts. With the arrival of the "Prefab for surveyors and sheet metal workers" manual, an important standardization step has already been taken. Now Bilfinger is introducing digitizing the creation of drawings. Using the app, the surveyor chooses from standard insulation form pieces and then enters the exact measurements in the app. This creates a complete digital 3D drawing of the required prefabricated insulation form pieces. The so-called "production sketch" is automatically prepared by the app. This is a great advantage for the surveyor, because until now it cost the surveyor additional operations. Moreover, a clear assembly diagram for the insulation technician can be printed out at the touch of a button. This way of working ensures increased process efficiency. Not only in measuring and manufacturing industrial insulation, but also in assembly.
