Your personal development is key
We offer you a two-year contract starting with competitive starting salary and a half-yearly raise. During these two years, you will work on at least four projects in different industries we are active in: Chemicals & Petrochemicals, Energy & Utilities, Oil & Gas, Pharmaceuticals & Biopharma, Industrial, Food Beverage & Argo, Pipelines & Infrastructure and Property. Every six months you will change teams in order to familiarize yourself with different departments and to discover where your talent comes into its own best.

Project Leader Traineeship
Are you (almost) graduated with a technical education at HBO level? Or do you have a completed MBO level 4 education with a few years of working experience? Then give your career a kick-start with a Traineeship at Bilfinger. We offer you every opportunity to grow in a few years to the position of Project Leader. You will start earning a very competitive salary including company car, bonus and numerous other extra-legal benefits.
Develop your skills and knowledge
As a Project Leader Trainee, your personal development will proceed at a rapid pace. In about four to five years, you will develop step by step into a full-fledged Project Leader. Depending on your knowledge, experience and preference, you will work in one of the different disciplines that we have at Bilfinger. Think of Piping & Mechanical, Scaffolding, Insulation or Painting.
Year 1 | At the start, we create a customized guidance and training plan with you. In your first year, you participate in an internal introductory program. In addition to your work at the level of Work Planner, for example, you follow the practical course VOMI Work Planner.
Year 2 | In addition to your regular work at the Junior Executives level, you will engage in one or more specific and valuable professional training courses. That is for example VOMI MIM 2 & 3, or Nace, Scaffolding Inspector or Cini. As a Trainee, you will also become a member and part of our internal Bilfinger Network. Together with other professionals, you will get the chance to develop personally in it.
Year 3 | In the third phase, you work at the level of Superintendent and probably already follow the VOMI Site Management training. After about 3 to 4 years after starting, you will have built up enough experience and knowledge to function as a full-fledged Project Leader on site.

What do you bring?
- HBO degree in a technical field, for example technical business administration or a completed MBO level 4 education with a few years of working experience
- One or two years work experience in a petrochemical work environment is a plus
- Ambitious in your professional and personal development
- Enough energy to combine work and further study
- In possession of a driving license
