Bilfinger UK, a leading provider of engineering and industrial services, is partnering with St Joseph’s Family Centre in Warrington as it announces its Charity of the Year.
Bilfinger UK’s Charity Committee brings together employees who share a passion for making a positive impact on society and support causes that align with its values as a company. The committee has pledged to support St Joseph’s Family Centre with donations, fundraising and awareness as its chosen charity of the year.
St Joseph's Family Centre is a well-respected charitable organisation in Warrington, dedicated to providing vital support services to local families and individuals in need.
Joe Wallinger, Charity Committee Lead, Bilfinger UK, said: “We are excited to announce St Joseph's Family Centre as our Charity of the Year. From our very first engagement, it was evident how their work to support families and individuals in our community by delivering counselling and emergency material welfare support, while acting as a safe place and child contact centre, is hugely important to supporting families and individuals in need.
“The Bilfinger UK Charity Committee recognises the importance of being actively involved in the communities where its employees live and work, therefore we have pledged to support them throughout the year with further donations, volunteering, and other fundraising initiatives.
“In the coming months, the Charity Committee will collaborate with St Joseph's Family Centre to make a positive impact and we look forward to working closely with them and our employees to raise funds and take advantage of the Bilfinger UK Volunteer Day initiative to provide support where it's needed most.”

The committee have already hit the ground running during their volunteer days to re-energise the Centre and have been gardening, painting and refreshing signs and branding, as well as taking part in the Bollington 3 Peaks Fell Race in aid of St Joseph’s and raised a further £1,000.
Joe concluded: “As a centre which relies on public donations to support its core services, our volunteer days and donations will help towards supporting families, adults and children within the local community to improve their wellbeing.”
