Educating the next generation
The industry is in constant need of relevant competence. At Bilfinger Nordics, we take the responsibility of educating the next generation of skilled workers in our countries. We educate apprentices in more than 20 disciplines.
AT ALL TIMES, BETWEEN 150 OG 200 APPRENTICES ARE ENGAGED AT BILFINGER NORDICS.
Most of our apprentices join us directly from school, but we also recruit talented adults. We take care of the practical training and make sure that our trainees acquire all skills needed. Each apprentice is being guided by an assigned mentor.
Many of our trainees get to work for us after they have earned their apprenticeship certificate. At Bilfinger Nordics, we are proud to offer qualified personnel within a wide range of disciplines. We consider it a social task to prepare new generations for working life.

Health and safety at work - our top priorities
Work safety and health protection are our top priorities. We work consistently to improve both and regularly conduct internal safety audits. We support the health of our employees through a variety of measures such as preventive medical check-ups and programmes to improve ergonomics at the workplace or to deal with stress.

We are located at 70 locations in the Nordic Region. You can find us almost everywhere in the world where our customers need us. We have our own subsidiaries in many countries, especially in Europe, the US and the Middle East. So, we also offer our employees the opportunity to work abroad. Through exchange projects, this is sometimes already possible during apprenticeship training.
