Bilfinger wins Austrian Climate Protection Award

The current Austrian Federal Minister for Climate Protection, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology, Leonore Gewessler, honored Bilfinger Life Science at the Austrian Energy Efficiency Congress for its outstanding commitment to energy efficiency and climate protection.

Bilfinger Life Science is now an official klimaaktiv company. The Salzburg-based company is committed to climate protection in an exemplary manner. The following measures were taken into account for the award

  • Action plan for energy efficiency and climate protection

  • "WeSustain database
  • Insulation thickness calculation (tool)

Efficiency and sustainability are core elements of Bilfinger's corporate strategy, with particular emphasis on climate protection. In the past, Bilfinger Life Science has already taken increased steps towards climate neutrality and energy efficiency. The Salzburg 2050 program is an important project to meet this responsibility with concrete measures. The goal of the program is to achieve significant progress in the areas of sustainability and energy efficiency by 2030.
