Success in industrial services: Bilfinger Berger concludes framework agreements with RWE and BASF worth €90 million

Bilfinger Berger Industrial Services has signed framework service agreements with RWE and BASF. Order volume totals €90 million for the entire contract period.

Bilfinger Berger is to provide scaffolding and associated services for RWE Power at their open-pit mine locations in Garzweiler, Hambach and Inden. The scaffolding will be used for the repair and maintenance of massive equipment, conveyor systems and in the main repair shop. The contracts have a term of three years. BASF is continuing its cooperation with Bilfinger Berger. The chemicals group extended framework agreements for its locations in Ludwigshafen and Schwarzheide, Germany by a further five years. Services include insulation, scaffolding, corrosion protection and piping systems.

Just recently, Bilfinger Berger Industrial Services reported new service agreements with BP and other international oil and gas companies at four locations in the United Kingdom. These contracts have a term of five years and a total volume of about €230 million.
