From planning to engineering and from installation to maintenance, we provide all services for our customers' wind turbines. By using rope access, our industrial climbers gain quick and easy access for important inspection, repair, maintenance and cleaning services on the turbines.

Offshore Wind Management Team

Our highly experienced Offshore Wind Management team have been involved in providing construction, commission and O&M services to the offshore windfarm market in the UK, since the first offshore windfarm, North Hoyle, was installed in 2003 having worked with numerous offshore windfarm developers.

For many years now, the team have worked closely with numerous major OEM’s, delivering specialised services and personnel for offshore wind construction projects in the UK and Northern Europe.

Jason Potter

Jason joined Bilfinger UK as our Operations Manager for Wind Power in 2022, and is based at our Great Yarmouth office, a prominent hub for renewable energy in the UK. With nearly 40 years of experience in the inspection and maintenance of cranes, lifting, and safety-critical equipment, he brings a wealth of expertise to the role.

Jason began his career as an Inspection Technician in the oil and gas sector, working on various UK and international projects both onshore and offshore. He has applied his valuable knowledge and experience to the renewables industry, primarily focusing on the onshore and offshore wind sector, where he oversees the management of numerous significant Inspection and Operations and Maintenance (O&M) contracts.

Svetlana Webber

Svetlana joined Bilfinger UK as our Operations Team Lead for Wind Power in 2022 and is based at our Great Yarmouth office. In this role, she oversees our existing multidiscipline contracts and spearheads the development of opportunities in servicing, Operations and Maintenance (O&M), installation, and commissioning of wind turbines.

With a career in the renewables industry dating back to 2012, Svetlana is highly regarded by many Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and wind farm operators. Over the years, she has amassed extensive experience in supplying and mobilising technicians for numerous onshore and offshore projects both in the UK and internationally.

Paul Hubbard

Paul joined Bilfinger UK as our Business Development Manager for Wind Power in 2021 and brought with him over 40 years of experience in the oil and gas, utilities, and more recently, renewables industries. He is part of our Business Development team based at our Great Yarmouth office.

Paul began his career in the equipment supply and service sector of the oil and gas industry before moving on to work as a Commercial Sales Manager for two of the major energy supply companies. In 2012, he transitioned into the renewables industry, where he has since established numerous strong working relationships with many Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and wind farm operators.

Offshore Wind (fixed platforms)

Bilfinger provides marshalling yard construction services associated with the final onshore commissioning as well as repairs of jackets and Wind Turbine Generator’s (WTG) during the pre-offshore construction phase of projects as well as being able to cover offshore repairs services during the construction phase of projects. Once the offshore development is fully operational then we can provide a fully integrated Tier 1 operational & maintenance (O&M) service which covers from operating the onshore O&M facilities to providing all the resources as well as services required offshore for conducting maintenance activities on both the WTG’s and balance of plant.

The Emerging Floating Offshore Wind (floating foundations)

Bilfinger provides marshalling yard construction services associated with the final onshore fabrication assembly, commissioning as well as repairs of floating foundations and Wind Turbine Generator’s (WTG) during the pre-offshore construction phase of projects, as well as being able to cover offshore repairs services during the construction phase of projects. Once operational then we can provide a fully integrated Tier 1 operational & maintenance (O&M) service which covers from operating the onshore O&M facilities to providing all the resources and services required offshore for conducting maintenance activities on both the WTG’s and balance of plant.
