Our Journey in Saudi Arabia

Our history in Saudi Arabia reflects a strong commitment to excellence and innovation:

1980: Deutsche Babcock built the Al Khobar Desalination Plant (AK.2), establishing a foundational presence in the region.
1996: Signed an agency agreement with a Saudi company, strengthening local ties.
2000: Secured the first 5-year maintenance contract with Saudi Electricity Company (SEC), enhancing our reputation in the energy sector.
2004: Expanded operations with significant work on the west coast (Jeddah) and established a branch office.
2006: Bilfinger Power Service GmbH (BPS) and Deutsche Babcock Middle East (DBME) collaborated to form Babcock Borsig Service Arabia Ltd. (BBSA), a foreign investment company.
2025: Renamed as Bilfinger Alarabia Company Ltd., reflecting our growth and alignment with Bilfinger’s vision.
