Roland Koch appointed new Chairman of the Executive Board at Bilfinger Berger

At its meeting today, the Supervisory Board of Bilfinger Berger SE appointed Roland Koch to succeed Herbert Bodner as Chairman of the Executive Board. “The leadership skills demonstrated time and again by Roland Koch make him the ideal candidate to continue the very successful development of Bilfinger Berger and to lead the company into a strong future”, said Supervisory Board Chairman Dr. Bernhard Walter.

Roland Koch will assume a position on the Executive Board from March 1, 2011 and will take over as Chairman on July 1, 2011. At that time, Herbert Bodner will retire after fourteen years on the Executive Board, including twelve as Chairman.

“Bilfinger Berger is a premium address in the German business world and one of the most dynamic companies I know. I'm very much looking forward to my future tasks”, commented Roland Koch.
