Bilfinger Berger Industrial Services: Contracts valued at €230 million with international oil and gas companies in the United Kingdom

Bilfinger Berger Industrial Services has concluded framework agreements for a range of industrial services with BP and other international oil and gas companies at four sites in the United Kingdom. The contracts cover a period of five years and have a total volume of about €230 million. The Company assumes immediate responsibility for ongoing maintenance and major inspections at locations in Scotland, Northern England and on the Shetland Islands. A further contract in Southern England that has been in place since 2006 was extended.

Bilfinger Berger is the leading service partner for the European process industry and offers its clients comprehensive services for the maintenance, repair and modernization of production facilities. In 2009, the industrial services business contributed €2.7 billion to the total output volume of the Bilfinger Berger Group. This high-margin business will grow significantly in the current financial year, not least due to the acquisition of the MCE Group concluded at the end of 2009.
