Continued strong demand for civil engineering works: Bilfinger Berger awarded follow-up contract for Gateway Motorway in Brisbane

Bilfinger Berger Australia continues to benefit from ongoing high levels of investment in transport infrastructure. In Brisbane, a consortium involving the Company has been awarded the contract to upgrade another section of the Gateway Motorway. The project includes widening a four-kilometer long section of the motorway from four to six lanes and has a volume of around €160 million. Bilfinger Berger Australia and its consortium partner Leighton each account for half of that total. Bilfinger Berger’s total volume for the construction of the Gateway Motorway thus increases to over €550 million.
