New maintenance project in Kuwait

October 26, 2016

Bilfinger will conduct maintenance work for various social welfare sectors in Kuwait for a period of three years. First-time client is the Ministry of Social Affairs: Following a successful pre-qualification, the colleagues from Babcock Borsig Steinmüller Kuwait Branch were able to impress the Ministry in a public tender process with the best price/performance ratio. The team will be carrying out maintenance work for trades such as medium and low-voltage switch systems, emergency generators and lighting. The order volume amounts to approximately €3.3 million.

“Babcock Borsig Steinmüller Kuwait Branch has been an established maintenance provider in Kuwait for many years.  We are very happy about this new order which allows us to also contribute our expertise in a new market”, says Jens Borgschulte, Finance Director of the Power Division.
