HSEQ Practical parcours at Bilfinger FRB

March 18, 2016

In February, Bilfinger FRB conducted an instructional parcours. At a total of eleven stations, employees got practice with new HSEQ regulations.

At each station, one HSEQ topic was presented and demonstrated by the station attendant. Station attendants were managers or safety experts who had independently developed the instructional topics. Topics such as “Testing and grounding”, “PSA for falls”, “Ladders”, “Lifting platforms” and “Securing loads” were all on the agenda. With this approach, it was possible to convey the information in a very practical manner and to answer questions about individual work steps directly at the site.

Bilfinger bears responsibility for employees, customers, society and the environment. Therefore, the topics of health, occupational safety, environment and quality are ascribed of highest importance. Responsible and sustainable action, the active involvement of all employees and open dialogue are the basic requirements for mutual success. Here we go beyond and above the fulfillment of legal requirements.
