Bilfinger in Stavanger hosted the Norwegian Championship in Insulation on behalf of the Corrosion, Insulation, and Scaffolding Contractors Association (KIS) on June 4-5.
There were two exciting days at Bilfinger in Stavanger on June 4-5. This year's task consisted of insulation on day 1 and encapsulation on day 2. With a total of 9 candidates from 5 different companies - Bilfinger, Kaefer Energy, Beerenberg, STS Isonor, and Aker Solutions - this year saw record participation!

The Norwegian Championship highlights the importance of recruiting skilled workers who can help build strong environments for future recruitment. The event is a close collaboration across companies and a great arena for meeting people passionate about the insulation profession. The insulation profession is a large and important field that encompasses a wide range: from the interior of housing modules, insulation, encapsulation, prefabrication of complex geometries to fire protection of the most critical equipment at a facility – and much more.

First and second place will advance to this year's European Championship in Roskilde on October 7-9 to represent Norway.
