Lünendonk 2016: Bilfinger at the top of the league table – Group once again the leading industrial services provider in Germany

Bilfinger has retained its position as the largest provider of industrial services in Germany. This is according to the Lünendonk list, which ranks leading industrial service companies. Output volume on the German market that is relevant for the ranking was €785 million in the last year.

“Bilfinger stands at the top of the league table of industrial services providers in Germany, which is extremely pleasing for me. Our company has held this top position since 2009 – eight years in a row. This is a tremendous success that is attributable to our employees, whose expertise is highly valued in Germany and throughout the world by our customers”, says Tom Blades, Chairman of the Executive Board of Bilfinger SE.

Bilfinger generated an output volume of around €3.7 billion in the industrial services business last year, nearly 80 percent of which was accounted for by international markets. Thus the Group had once again by far the highest share of international business of any German provider in the industry. The company’s most important international markets for industrial services at the moment are in European neighboring countries and in the USA.

The annual Lünendonk study on the leading industrial services companies in Germany is an important market barometer for this economic sector.
