On 17 August, Bilfinger welcomed this year's apprentices for a joint onboarding programme. The first day included presentations on health, safety and environment (HSE), occupational health services, and other important topics. On the second day, the apprentices collected their workwear before joining their respective departments, where they will receive practical training and guidance over the next two years.
"We are very fortunate to have such a strong group of apprentices this year. Bilfinger attracts a large number of applicants, which allows us to select from many talented and highly motivated candidates. This year's apprentices are of an exceptionally high standard," says Bent-Sølve Hansen, Apprenticeship Coordinator at Bilfinger.
He emphasizes the importance of apprenticeships for the company's future:
"We are currently experiencing a generational shift within the company. That is why it is essential for us to recruit and develop the skilled workers of the future."
