Installation of Leak Gas Compressors for Emission Reduction

Customer:

Storengy Deutschland GmbH

Location:

Gas storage facilities Harsefeld and Lesum

GermanyCorporate
Markets:
Oil & Gas
Scope:

As part of Storengy's emission reduction strategy, one leak gas compressor was installed at each of the gas storage sites Harsefeld and Lesum. These systems enable the recovery of technically unavoidable gas fractions from piston seals back into the process, instead of venting them into the atmosphere. The objective was to significantly reduce methane emissions and increase energy efficiency.
