About the project

At Nordic Mechanical Solutions, we offer a wide range of highly qualified services in the assembly and installation of process equipment, including associated piping systems for biogas facilities. It is a rapidly growing market with strong potential and increasing demand. Nordic Mechanical has worked on several projects in parallel and is today one of the leading and most frequently contracted companies in the sector.

We have taken part in a project in Skogn, Norway, where the facility processes substrates primarily from the fish industry and refines them into liquid LBG. This plant represents a major investment for Norway in its ongoing transition from fossil oil to gas.

The conversion of municipal waste and residual materials into biogas or biofertiliser is an effective way to reduce the need for imported mineral fertiliser. Biogas itself can be used as fuel for vehicles.

In Norway, we have provided and delivered our services in piping installation and the assembly of process equipment. Our process typically begins with project planning, followed by prefabrication at our workshop, and finally delivery and installation at the customer’s site.
