Combining in-house engineering, production, site erection, commissioning and maintenance capabilities, Bilfinger Thermeq has a unique concept for operating companies in (renewable) power generation, (petro)chemical and process industries.
Bilfinger Thermeq as OEM of boilers is specialized in tailor-made boiler systems and proven performance is guaranteed by our in-house design knowledge and expertise of water/steam cycles and combustion technology, especially by application of our own Bilfinger Thermeq OEM burner systems.

- EPC contractor – We take responsibility for all aspects of the project, from design and engineering to procurement of materials and equipment, and finally, the actual construction and commissioning.
- Turnkey solutions – We provide all the necessary components, software, hardware, installation and testing. We take responsibility for the entire process, from design to delivery.
- Guaranteed performance – Our in-house design and engineering of the boiler in combination with the burners ensures that the water/steam system is optimally matched to the combustion system, thus guaranteeing performance.
- Low emissions – Our in-house burner expertise as an OEM of burners enables us to achieve low emissions, supplemented where necessary with secondary solutions in the field of SCR and SNCR.

- Small footprint – With our vertical EDL-type boiler we can offer a solution if there is little space on site to place the boiler and a small footprint is required.
- Tailor made solutions – From our basic concepts for the EDL and HF type boilers it is possible to optimally customize to project-specific needs in terms of of process parameters / operating conditions / emissions, footprint, combustion fuels or fuel blends and complex system integration in existing periphery.

More than just New-Build Boilers
In addition to the engineering and fabrication of new boilers, Bilfinger provides a comprehensive range of services to existing boilers (also other than Bilfinger brands), designed to ensure your steam production remains reliable, efficient and sustainable throughout its entire lifecycle.
Retrofit existing boilers to enhance sustainability, profitability, and reliability. For example, by installing smart heat exchangers to improve performance. Or replacing burners to reduce emissions. Or making mechanical improvements to boiler pressure parts to extend service life and ensure reliable operation.
Performing visual- and NDT inspections on boilers for condition assessment, statutory periodic inspections, and/or residual life extension. A good basis for determining an optimal maintenance strategy and reliable business operations.
The supply of boiler pressure parts, such as diaphragm walls, economizer/evaporator/superheater bundles and headers, to replace existing ones that require replacement.
Conducting studies on opportunities to optimize the sustainability, profitability, and reliability of boilers. Using reverse engineering with our boiler design software, we can model boilers and identify retrofit options that improve sustainable and profitable operations.
