PNO Innovation, formerly known as EGEN, in partnership with Bilfinger and Bureau Veritas, is proud to announce that our consortium has been selected by the European Investment Bank (EIB) to deliver Project Development Assistance (PDA) services to Energy Intensive Industries and Cleantech Manufacturing companies eligible for the Innovation Fund.
The consortium, led by PNO Innovation, brings together extensive experience and complementary expertise in these sectors. Our combined capabilities and proven track record in supporting high-impact, low-carbon projects under the Innovation Fund position us well to meet the technical, financial and quality requirements outlined by the EIB.
Number one ranking
A notable addition is that our consortium was selected as the highest-ranking candidate by the EIB. Together, PNO Innovation, Bilfinger and Bureau Veritas offer a full range of technical advisory services in the range of feasibility studies, technology assessments, market analyses and due diligence & project preparation support. The consortium members have lined up a number of experts across Europe who are ready to respond to any request for PDA.
The consortium members
PNO Innovation provides consultancy services at the forefront of energy transition and climate change. The experts have in-depth knowledge of the energy, environment, and mobility sectors and are actively involved in promoting, financing, and stimulating innovations in the fields of sustainable energy, offshore wind energy, smart grids, CC(U)S, power-to-gas, circularity, biobased economy, waste-to-resource, sustainable mobility, emission-free transport, and hydrogen. To this end, they make use of funding programs such as the Innovation Fund, the European Hydrogen Bank, PCI/PMI, Connecting Europe Facility, and IPCEI.

In this consortium, Bureau Veritas provides services on technology assessment such as technology readiness and qualification, design review, performance validation, risk assessment, and permitting in due diligence & project preparation.
