Bilfinger has signed a multi-year framework agreement with Hoogheemraadschap van Delfland, Hoogheemraadschap van Schieland en de Krimpenerwaard, Waterschap Brabantse Delta and Waterschap Hollandse Delta. The agreement covers the provision of integrated technical consultancy services and runs from May 1st, 2026, through 2030.
Within this framework agreement, the four water authorities combine their demand for technical expertise and capacity. Bilfinger is one of the selected engineering firms that can be engaged in the coming years under this agreement for a wide range of advisory and design assignments in the water sector.
“This framework agreement confirms Bilfinger as a strategic and reliable partner for the water authorities,” says Kevin Pieterse, President Consulting & Engineering Western and Central Europe. “With our multidisciplinary expertise, extensive knowledge of the water domain, and integrated approach, we support the transition toward future-proof and sustainable water management.”
Integrated Technical Consultancy Services
Under this framework agreement, Bilfinger provides integrated technical consultancy services to the four water authorities. The work includes, among other things, advisory, design, and support activities across the entire wastewater chain.
Bilfinger’s involvement ranges from studies and technical design to contract preparation, tender support, and project management. Assignments are commissioned per project and executed within the terms of the framework agreement.
Through this collaboration, the water authorities and their partners aim to jointly shorten project lead times and structurally strengthen knowledge sharing.
