Supervisory Board of Bilfinger SE reorganizes itself in terms of personnel
May 10, 2016
The Annual General Meeting of Bilfinger SE will take place on May 11, 2016 in Mannheim. All shareholder representatives in the Supervisory Board face re-election. Should he be re-elected, Dr. Eckhard Cordes will again stand as a candidate for the office of Chairman of the Supervisory Board. Three new candidates are also up for election at the Annual General Meeting.
One of them is Dr. Marion Helmes, a corporate consultant who was previously Speaker of the Executive Board at Celesio AG, among other things. Two other candidates have put themselves forward for election at the Annual General Meeting; in place of Hans Peter Ring, who has withdrawn his candidacy at short notice for personal reasons, and Dr. John Feldmann, who is no longer available for election due to differences of opinion in the Supervisory Board regarding the strategy and positioning of Bilfinger.
There were also changes on the employee side. These new members have already been elected by the Works Council of Bilfinger SE with effect from May 11, 2016. The new employee representatives to the Supervisory Board include Dr. Janna Köke (Trade Union Secretary IG Metall Mannheim), Emma Phillips (Employee of Bilfinger Europa Facility Management) and Jörg Sommer (Employee of Bilfinger arnholdt).
In the Supervisory Board that is to be elected, Bilfinger SE will surpass the required gender quota of 30 percent.
