August 07, 2015

The engineering and services group Bilfinger has signed a framework agreement covering the replacement and maintenance of control systems for 50 gas turbines with the Dutch utility company Gasunie. The volume is in excess of €20 million.

Bilfinger GreyLogix will develop a new, standardized control system that can be used for gas turbine compressor units from all manufacturers in Gasunie's Dutch transmission network. Replacement of the systems will be carried out gradually in the course of the next few years and there will also be a long-term contract for maintenance and repair.

Bilfinger has in recent years established a strong position in the area of automation and control technology for industrial facilities. In 2014, the Group’s output volume in this business was about €400 million.
