Bilfinger extends €150 million framework agreement with Shell

The engineering and services group Bilfinger has extended two framework agreements in the Netherlands with major client Shell. The agreements each have a term of five years and the total volume amounts to more than €150 million.

The contracts relate to Europe’s largest refinery in Rotterdam-Pernis and the petrochemical location in Moerdijk. They cover services for the maintenance of insulation, heat tracing of piping systems, corrosion protection, industrial scaffolding as well as total access. The cooperation with Shell dates back to the 1960's.

Bilfinger is one of the largest European providers of industrial services. The company generated an output volume of €3.7 billion in this business segment in 2014. In the Benelux countries, which are among the most important markets in this segment, output volume in 2014 totaled about €450 million.
