The protection of your personal data is an important matter for Bilfinger. Data submitted in the context of the application process is therefore always handled confidentially and in accordance with the applicable data protection legislation.
Collection and storage of your personal data
Your personal data are collected and stored in the Bilfinger E-recruiting if you
- send us these per e-mail or mail
- register online
- apply for a concrete job offer
- or submit a speculative application.
Use and storage of your personal data
If you apply for a concrete job position, an apprenticeship or a work/study position through the application system, your data can only be viewed and processed by the responsible employees of the Human Resources department of the company which posted the advertisement and by the employees of the corresponding department. After completion of the application process, your login access will be deactivated after six months and blocked for further use, unless notified otherwise. Your data will be deleted entirely after further six months, insofar as no other legal regulations require a longer or shorter storage duration.
Should you receive a rejection with pool invitation and accept this invitation or submit a speculative application through our application system, you grant us approval to use your personal data for the purpose of finding an appropriate position.
Your data are added to the talent pool of the Bilfinger Group and utilized in the search for suitable applicants. Your data can then be accessed by all Human Resources departments of the Bilfinger Group as well as employees of the departments involved in the application process in order to consider your profile for job positions. Your data are initially added to the talent pool for six months. As soon as you again login to the system with your access data, this period starts anew for six months. If you don't update or use your profile for a period of five months, we will request per email that you update your details. If you then don't update your profile, your data will be removed from the talent pool after another four weeks and your further use of this feature will be blocked. Your personal data will be deleted from the system at the end of an additional six-month period.
During the application process, we will contact you by phone or in writing and regularly inform you of the current status of your application. In addition, it may be that at irregular intervals we contact you in writing in order to request your opinion of our online activities and our application system.
Since the application system encompasses a Group-wide data processing system, personal data may – in the context of the above-mentioned use of the data – also be transferred to Group locations abroad if necessary.
The Bilfinger SE and the relevant Group company – regardless from which location your data are accessed – are concerned about the protection of your data and adhere to the applicable laws and regulations on data protection. Adjustment of our data privacy declaration may become necessary for legal reasons. We reserve the right to effect according alterations at any time.
Your personal data are not made available to any third parties outside of the Bilfinger Group, except if it pertains to a commissioned service provider in connection with the application process, or we have obtained your permission or an official injunction to do so.
Right of access and rectification and the right of withdrawal
You have the right at any time to access and update all of your personal data which is stored in the application system if you believe them to be incorrect or out of date. You are responsible to ensure that these data are correct and truthful. You can revoke your consent for the use of your personal data at any time with future effect by closing your account. Your profile is then deactivated and your data is blocked for further use. After the retention period of six month your data will be deleted entirely from the system.
We implement technical and organizational security measures in order to protect your data from intentional or accidental manipulation, loss, corruption or against access by unauthorized people. For the secure transfer of your data in the Internet, we make use of so-called SSL-encoding (https). Our security measures are regularly tested and improved in accordance with technological developments.
The Bilfinger SE with headquarters in Mannheim is responsible for the technical support of the application system, which it makes available to all companies of the Bilfinger Group. Your information is stored in a data center in Germany.
