Bilfinger Berger expands its market position in Scandinavia:
Major project with a volume of €100 million in Sweden
Bilfinger Berger is further developing its position in the Scandinavian civil engineering market. In Sweden, the Group has received an order for technically complex tunneling works in greater Stockholm. Order volume amounts to €100 million.
The project is part of Stockholm’s northern by-pass. The route of the new ring road is primarily underground, and Bilfinger Berger’s competences in civil and foundation engineering were a major factor in the award. Bilfinger Berger is already responsible for the design and construction of an adjacent section with an order volume of €80 million, and sees good opportunities for the award of further contracts in future sections.
Continuing high investment in Scandinavian infrastructure presents Bilfinger Berger with excellent prospects. In addition to Sweden, the Group is also active in Norway. In both countries, Bilfinger Berger is a leading service provider to the oil, gas and process industries.
