Bilfinger Berger: Dr. Klaus-Dieter Ehlers to retire

Dr. Klaus-Dieter Ehlers, 63, a member of the Executive Board of Bilfinger Berger AG, is to retire at the end of 2004.

Dr. Klaus-Dieter Ehlers has been at the Bilfinger Berger Group since 1984, and a member of the Executive Board since 1995. After his departure, the size of this board will be reduced to five members.

Dr. Klaus-Dieter Ehlers is vice president for Technology of the National Confederation of the German Construction Industry and Chairman of the Executive Board of the German Concrete and Construction Technology Association (DBV). He will continue to perform these functions.
