The Golden Ears Crossing in Vancouver, Canada has entered service, providing a highspeed link across the Fraser River. The key feature of the project is a 1,000-meter bridge served by three kilometers of highway and nine kilometers of connector roads. Bilfinger Berger designed, financed and built the route and will operate it for a 32- year period. During this time the company will receive a fixed usage fee from the transport authority. The investment volume amounted to €800 million.
