Bilfinger Berger Magazine 2/2008

In Hungary, Bilfinger Berger has been awarded a contract for a section of the M6 motorway. The company is to design, finance and construct the 65-kilometer long high-speed route and operate it for a period of 30 years. The project entails an investment of some €500 million. During the operating phase the company will ensure availability of the new motorway and will in return receive a contractually fixed payment from the Hungarian government. The M6 is a central element in the expansion of Hungary’s motorway network. Bilfinger Berger is already operating the first 60-kilometer section of the route.
