Babcock Borsig Service, a Bilfinger Berger Power Services company, is to equip the Voerde power station, operated jointly by RWE and Evonik, on the Lower Rhine with two ultra-modern coal pulverizers and eight new coal-dust separators for coal dust firing. The pulverizers, which will guarantee optimum milling of various qualities of coal, were developed by Babcock Borsig Service. The order, valued at 20 million euros, also includes the erection of 2,500 meters of new coal dust pipelines. Babcock Borsig Service was the only company able to offer all of the required services from a single source.
