Major follow-up orders

Bilfinger Berger is to build the northern ring road around Stockholm. The volume of the project is about 100 million euros. The Group is already responsible for the design and construction of an adjacent section. The new ring road is routed mainly underground, meaning that the company’s geotechnical engineering skills and experience played a major part in securing the contract.Meanwhile in Australia, Bilfinger Berger has received a further order to expand the Hume Highway between Sydney and Melbourne. The project valued at 210 million euros is based on an alliance contract. The Group has been involved in the modernization of the highway for two years now and is also partially responsible for its maintenance.
