Cable-stayed bridge over the Saigon River
Bilfinger Berger is erecting a large cablestayed bridge in Vietnam: the two-kilometer long Phu My Bridge over the Saigon River will provide significant relief for innercity traffic in Ho Chi Minh City, which has a population of six million. The core of the structure is a 700-meter long cable-stayed construction supported by two 140-meter high pylons. The project has a volume of about € 80 million. Bilfinger Berger previously built a cable-stayed bridge in the Mekong Delta near My Thuan between 1997 and 2000.
